Weaving Hope is a developmental initiative aimed at achieving economic empowerment and sustainable development for families residing in camps. This is achieved through establishing small home-based workshops for sewing, repairing, and selling clothing, to women skilled in the art of sewing. This enhances the self-sufficiency of financially struggling families, while also increasing employment opportunities for them and potentially for other families in the future. Moreover, this project transforms the targeted families from being consumers to producers, ultimately contributing to community development and sustainable recovery.
