Salam Center – Because Childhood Deserves Peace and Knowledge

In the heart of exile, where thousands of refugee children in Türkiye live far from their language and identity, the Salam Center emerges as a safe haven and a beacon of knowledge—restoring to these children a part of what they’ve lost.

Salam Center is a developmental educational project targeting Arab and Muslim children aged 7 to 15. It aims to teach Arabic language, the Holy Qur’an, and essential Islamic values and ethics, while also offering psychological and cultural support.

The center is not just about learning; it provides a nurturing environment that meets the holistic needs of a refugee child. It includes:
